A Decade Transforming Cardiac Care in Africa

“A Decade of Action. A Lifetime of Impact.”

Conceived in 2015 with a bold vision to transform acute cardiovascular care across Africa, africaSTEMI began as an intimate gathering of committed cardiologists determined to change the narrative. A decade later, it stands as the continent’s premier platform for acute cardiovascular and interventional education, collaboration, and innovation. Over the past ten years, we have trained thousands of healthcare professionals, transmitted dozens of live cases across borders, and cultivated a powerful network of cardiac centers united by a shared commitment to excellence. Our annual congress convenes the brightest minds in African cardiology — advancing science, elevating skills, and strengthening systems of care.

As we mark ten years of impact, africaSTEMI Live! 2026 signals not just a celebration, but a renewed commitment to the future — bridging gaps in care, accelerating collaboration, and saving lives across our continent.
